Anyone who wants to improve his or her English is welcome to take classes!
Basic ESL classes are non-credit, which means they do not provide college credit. Basic ESL classes are below college level, and credit ESL courses are at a higher skill level. Many students take Basic ESL classes to prepare for the college placement test so they can take credit ESL classes.
No. Student visas (F-1 visas) are available only for credit coursework. For more information about this topic, search for “International Student Admissions” on our web site.
No. Federal financial aid cannot be used for non-credit courses.

You can register online!

We recommend you register early as test spaces fill up quickly. You can register online or you can register in person in the Non-Credit Registration Office. You cannot register on the same day of the test. The test is $30; we only accept credit cards.
