Supporting Adult Students with COMPASS
The COMPASS program provides coaching and funding for Columbus residents who finished high school in the last few years and are looking for a career boost. The program provides funding to cover full tuition and fees at Columbus State for eligible students (Columbus residents who completed their high school education between 2019 and 2023 and are not actively enrolled at the college).
COMPASS is a collaboration between I Know I Can, the ASPYR Workforce Innovation, and Columbus State designed to:
- Re-engage high school completers who dropped out or never enrolled in postsecondary education or training.
- Encourage college persistence for individuals impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Improve college and career readiness and milestone completion while removing financial barriers to enrollment.
