Federal School Code
The Federal School Code is used by the Department of Education to identify which schools should receive the results of a student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to list Columbus State’s Code on your FAFSA

Using the Financial Aid office
Customer Service Window
Students may receive forms, general account information, drop off paperwork, schedule appointments with financial aid advisors, receive general scholarship information, or receive general VA information on a walk-in basis during regular office hours.

Phones
Students may request forms, receive general account information, make general inquires about financial aid, and schedule appointments with financial aid advisors.
Financial Aid award amounts will not be given over the phone.

Financial Aid Advisors
Financial Aid Advisors see students on an appointment basis and walk-up. A financial aid advisor is available at the Financial Aid Customer Service windows on a walk-up basis during regular office hours.
