Campus Support
The Student Advocacy Center, in collaboration with COTA, is pleased to provide FREE bus passes to Columbus State students for each semester they are enrolled in courses (credit and non-credit). Visit the Student Advocacy Center today to get your COTA bus pass while supplies last!
Students who utilize Mainstream can use the Student Rider passes from our office for the COTA paratransit service free of charge. Note: Student must first register for the Mainstream Service through COTA.

The Fuel for Student Success Program is meant to assist students experiencing financial hardship to reduce transportation and food barriers that may impede their academic success while at Columbus State. Students experiencing financial hardship can receive transportation and/or food assistance in the form of gift cards during the semester they are enrolled.
Students can receive up to 2 transportation and 2 food gift cards per semester. Students cannot receive more than 2 of either gift card category in one month. All gift cards are available while supplies last.
Support is available at the Columbus (downtown) & Delaware campus as well as the Dublin regional learning center. View information below on how to access support at your location of choice.

Community Support
- Discounted COTA Fares
- COTA Mainstream / Paratransit - offers origin-to-destination rides for people whose functional limitations prevent them from riding COTA’s fixed route buses.
- Visit the Student Advocacy Center to get a Student Rider COTA pass.
CoGo is Columbus' bike share system, with 80+ stations and 600+ bikes across the city. It’s a fun, affordable and convenient way to get around. CoGo For All is available to Columbus residents aged 18 and older receiving SNAP (WIC EBT and EBT), FAFSA, or a discounted utility bill.
Delaware County Transit transportation services currently include Demand Response and FLEX Route with Paratransit service for those individuals that have been certified.
Other Services, including services for individuals with special needs, are available.
Car Repairs
Car Repair Assistance has a maximum benefit of $1500. This assistance will be provided in the form of a voucher that is used to pay for auto repairs at an IMPACT-approved auto shop. Payment will be made once IMPACT receives proof that any outstanding balance beyond this amount has been paid.
