Basic Needs Grant
Under the U.S. Department of Education: Basic Needs for Postsecondary Student Program, the Student Advocacy Center has a very limited number of laptops available for eligible students while supplies last. For academic year 2024-2025 these laptops have been distributed to students in specific groups, Columbus Promise, Weiler, COMPASS, TRIO, and Stay the Course.
The Information Technology (IT) department provides technology resources and support for the campus community. If assistance is needed with setting up or using your student/employee email account, using the CSCC wireless internet, CougarWeb, Blackboard, or other campus technology, please contact them via email at helpdesk@cscc.edu or via phone at 614-287-5050.
The IT Support Center may be reached during the following hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Learning remotely may present new challenges for learners as they adjust to online
delivery. A variety of tools to assist students with navigating remote challenges

Community Support
AT&T offers a low-cost wireline home Internet service to qualifying households.
To participate in the SAFELINK WIRELESS® service, certain eligibility requirements must be met, which are set by each State where the service is provided. These requirements are based on a person’s participation in state, Federal support programs, or by meeting the Income Poverty Guidelines as defined by the U.S. Government. SAFELINK WIRELESS® service is limited to one person per household.
Note: If you are receiving unemployment benefits, you may quality for Lifeline services.

TIP: If you need help with utility costs, seek help at the beginning of the month because community resources run out of money early.
