Information and Resources for CSCC Employees
Training Requests for Departments
The Student Advocacy Center team members are available to do training/presentations
for departments to help increase awareness of the services offered by the Student
Advocacy Center and the various college and community resources to which we connect
students to support their success.
Help us Learn about Your Area
If you are a Columbus State department who provides services to students that you
want the Student Advocacy Center to be aware of and share with students, let us know!
C.A.R.E.S. (Connections And Resources for Every Student) Advocates Training
CARES Advocates are Columbus State employees who have completed advocacy training
to learn more about college and community resources so they can support students who
are experiencing barriers or challenges impacting their success. This network of
CARES Advocates includes staff, faculty, and administrators from a variety of areas
at the college, which provides additional layers of support and expanded opportunities
to connect students in need to resources for help.
Information on CARES training sessions and other Student Advocacy Center initiatives
will be posted in the Columbus State UPDATE newsletter.
