Career Services Exploration Programs
Career Services offers two programs that provide an opportunity for students to meet
with industry professionals for career decision making and planning.
These experiences are great for undecided students and those who are changing majors
or are uncertain what job they may want to pursue.
Career Conversations: Program matches students with a professional host for a one time informational interview to investigate a particular career. Time Commitment: 30 Minutes - 1 Hour
COUGARshadow: Program that matches students with a professional host in a chosen industry for a company tour and job shadow. Time Commitment: 1-3 hours, typically
Program Requirements
Attend one orientation session (group, individual or virtual) to review program information. Program coordinator will contact participants regarding the date/time.
Commit to meet with your assigned host one time within the current semester and report confirmation of this meeting to the program coordinator.

How to Register
Registration opens the first week of Autumn and Spring semesters and is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
To register, go to Cougar Connect and search “organizations” for Career Services Exploration Programs, then complete the student registration form.

Note: Host matching is on a first come, first served basis and is not guaranteed. All students who register will be informed whether they have been matched and about next steps.
