Now that you are a Columbus Promise scholar, it's time to start navigating college life. And if you're like most Columbus State students, you have more responsibilities than finishing your homework. You're likely balancing a job, family needs, and other financial responsibilities in addition to going to class and paving the path for your future.

What you can Expect  

Be sure you have selected a major or certificate program that is eligible for financial aid in order to make use of your Columbus Promise Scholarships.

Eligible Programs of Study

As a Columbus Promise scholar, your Columbus State tuition will be covered and you'll earn an additional $500 each semester to help pay for your expenses. How much those expenses will be varies depending on many different factors. Where will you live? How will you get to work and school? Are you planning to buy new or used books? Will you need a computer? Do you have childcare expenses?
