Several TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and STEM students attended the 2025 Ohio TRIO Student Leadership Conference Feb. 13-15 at the Polaris Hilton Hotel. The annual event brought together students from TRIO programs across Ohio to engage in leadership development and networking opportunities.
During the conference, three Columbus State TRIO students, Sara Hussen, Annette Williams, and Taylor Austin, were honored for their commitment to continuous growth, leadership, and empowering fellow students. The TRIO SSS and STEM programs at Columbus State support first-generation income-eligible students and students with documented disabilities.
The programs provide academic coaching, tutoring, workshops, and general support and guidance. For more information about the CSCC TRIO programs, visit their webpage. The Columbus State TRIO program has openings for students; referrals are welcome.
