2025 Student Employee Appreciation Week
Update | Monday, April 28, 2025
Advising and Career Services reports it was an amazing week celebrating student employees for Student Employee Appreciation Week. Student employees stopped by throughout the week to pick up treat bags and thank you cards. Many were featured on social media on various college department pages.
Treats, Thank You Card Pickup, and ‘Elevate Your Selfie’ headshots
Held on April 14 and 15, Career Services put together 40 bags filled with snack and
treat items, each with a handwritten thank you card. Four Starbucks gift cards were
randomly added to the thank you cards. Student employees also had the opportunity
to participate in “Elevate Your Selfie” for an updated headshot photo by Career Services
staff.
2025 Student Employment Awards
The 2025 Student Employment Awards were held April 16 in the Library multimedia studio.
The following teams and individuals were each recognized for their accomplishments

“Cheyenne brings an open point of view to her work. In discussing projects and/or
solutions to an issue, she pulls from her own personal experiences, while also keeping
in mind what may be helpful for other students. Cheyenne has been such a great addition
to the Career Services student-employee team. She has worked with us since Summer
2024 and is now preparing to graduate. I am so proud of her personal and professional
growth this year. I have seen her confidence grow; through hard work and completing
challenging things, she has become more sure of herself and her skills.”
