Students find success in Ohio Export Internship Program

Update | Monday, July 1, 2024

Two Columbus State students – Matthew Faltas and Aisha Abdi – are finding success in the Ohio Export Internship Program (OEIP). Jeremy Banta, Engineering Technology assistant professor, recommended the two supply chain program students for the annual internship program. It is a partnership between the Ohio Department of Development and six university partners, including Ohio State University.

Faltas is working with Savare, while Abdi is with Vesco Medical. They are working on export-related projects during Summer Semester. They each participated in the Ohio State classroom portion during Spring Semester. Interviews for new students begin in the fall.

Interested students should contact Roberta Winch, Export Assistance Network director at the Ohio Small Business Development Center, at rwinch@cscc.edu
