The Business Community – a student club designed to allow students to discover career pathways and opportunities – held its third semester event on Nov. 5. It was in conjunction with Professor Jack Popovich’sStudent Financial Wellness” series.

There were two panel discussions featuring students in one panel and regional business professionals in another. Two other sessions regarding micro-internships and mentors were presented by Amy Hawkins, Advising and Career Services manager and a business professor from Ohio University.

College faculty members who facilitated the event included Popovich and Assistant Professor Duane Donaldson. Collectively, more than 300 students have attended the events in person and online in September, October, and November. Includeing the two large multi-session events last spring, more than 700 students have participated so far. Additional events are planned.
