February FPDi workshops available

The Faculty Professional Development Initiative (FPDi) has scheduled workshops for February. In addition to Active and Collaborative Learning (ACL) workshops there are: 

FPDi Diversity workshops 

• FPDi Critical Thinking workshops

FPDi Alternative Assessment workshops
**Getting Started with Alternative Assessment  
**Alternative Assessment in Your Classroom

Each workshop is 90 minutes and takes place live on Zoom. 

Also available
FPDi Quality Live Online Teaching (A two-week course where participants will meet online with their peers (two sessions), read and view online content, collaborate via Blackboard discussion boards, and complete assignments that will be assessed by the course facilitator.) 

FPDi Effective Online Teaching (A three-week online course prepares participants to teach in the web format, using department-approved shells – courses that have been designed by experienced faculty and undergone quality peer review.)
