Columbus State earns national award

An event held and sponsored by our Conference and Event Services has earned the Supplier of the Year award from Meeting Professionals International (MPI). It is awarded annually to an accomplished meeting professional, someone who has made significant contributions to the industry and their community, including our MPI Ohio Chapter. The 2022 award was presented for “Ignite: Sparking Conversation Industry Education Conference” held at Columbus State in November. 

Comments from judges said, “Patricia Huston (director of Conference and Event Services) and Columbus State Community College provided students from the Hospitality Management program an opportunity to participate and network. Patricia is a huge supporter of our chapter and the industry."
