Advisor presents at international recruiting event

Candace Allen, an advisor in International Student Services, was a presenter on December 10 at an international recruiting event for more than 50 Chinese students.

US Heartland China Association, a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening relationships between the United States and China, hosted representatives from seven higher education institutions across the nation, including UC Berkeley, the University of Massachusetts, and the University of Houston, in an event titled “From Community Colleges to a 4 Year Degree: A Path with Many Benefits.” Allen was one of three community college representatives at the virtual event. She co-presented with Marco Chavez, an international recruiter at The Ohio State University.
