Update | Monday, February 14, 2022

A Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) scholar has recognized Jill Anderson, an advocate and advisor in Testing and Accessibility.During a recent survey of students, Anderson – a 24-year employee at the College – was singled out by the student as the “faculty or staff member having the most positive influence on your education experience this academic year.”

The student said Anderson “has helped me navigate disability services and answered countless questions. I appreciate her communicating all my options and making sure I have the tools I need to be successful.”

Anderson also serves Columbus State’s College Credit Plus students as part of her overall student support efforts. The goal of the Ohio LSAMP Alliance is to double the number of underrepresented minority students earning bachelor's degrees in STEM fields.
