Joyin Tang, supervisor of International Student Services, teamed up with her former student, Joey Masters, for a webinar promoting Columbus State to the Ohio chapter of the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association (APAPA).

Masters is a 2018 Columbus State Associate of Science graduate who transferred to the Ohio State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Physics. He is currently a graduate student in Medical Physics at Vanderbilt University

Joyin joined Masters on July 19 for the APAPA Ohio chapter webinar. The pair shared reasons with several dozen attendees why to consider Columbus State while also promoting College Credit Plus, Transfer Pathways, and the Honors and STEM programs.

The event moderator, Vanessa Tang, attended Columbus State's recent Robotics Summer Camp. She is a Dublin Jerome high school student and an APAPA intern with the City of Dublin.
