Columbus State earns another ACCED-I award

Update | Monday, March 21, 2022

The Association of Collegiate Conference & Event Directors International (ACCED-I) has awarded Columbus State’s Conference and Event Services (CES) the 2022 Outstanding Institutional Achievement Award-Long Term Process on behalf of Columbus State. It is the third award in four years.

This year’s award recognizes a significant achievement by an institution in the conference and events field for a long-term process. In this case, it was the opening of Mitchell Hall, which includes an Event Center for students and the community. The Event Center also provides hands-on experience for students in Hospitality Management. Lori Gage, event coordinator, attended the 42nd Annual ACCED-I National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia this month and accepted the award for the College.

This is the third ACCED-I national award for the CES team.
