Reserving space at Columbus State

Update | Tuesday, June 22, 2021

With the gradual return to in-person meetings on campus, reserving space will be vital for corporate meetings, student clubs, organizations, receptions, parties, and more. To ensure all community members have an opportunity to utilize space, reservations are generally available on a first-come, first-serve basis with a couple of exceptions:

  • A reservation may be made up to one year in advance
  • Reservations for repeat meetings may be booked up to six months in advance

When reserving a space, a Terms and Conditions form has been created for you to review and sign with your Event Order. The information will include:

  • All food and beverages in the facilities will be provided by Columbus State-approved vendors. No other food will be permitted. On-site food preparation is not allowed.
  • Cancelations must be made at least two business days in advance.

The process for reserving space has also been simplified. Moving forward, you start by filling out the reservation form on the Employee Page, will go directly to Conference and Event Services. Their goal is to provide a written response to all requests within 24 business hours.  If they do not have space available for your event, they will refer you to our partners at Central Scheduling to help find another space. Keep in mind that Central Scheduling booking policies differ from Conference and Event Services. Central Scheduling gives priority to academic sections first.

To request space, please visit Conference and Event Services.
