Police department celebrates Pride Month

Update | Monday, June 14, 2021

The Columbus State Police Department (CSPD) is showing PRIDE to community members. Located in the department’s lobby, they have a timeline of LGBTQ events in safety and law enforcement, as well as pictures and fast facts about some of Ohio’s police personnel. Highlights included are Columbus’ former Police Chief Kim Jacobs, as well as Ohio’s first LGBT sheriff.

This project was a collaborative effort from CSPD dispatchers Cassandra Carothers (pictured below) and Devan Quitt’er. As you begin returning to campus, stop by to check out the display and say hello to the Columbus State Police.
