Career pathway experience for Columbus State LSAMP students

On November 18, Columbus State Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) scholars Hadeel Qadri and Maggan Sheikh traveled with students from Ohio State, Cleveland State, and Central State universities – along with other LSAMP-alliance colleges – to the Eaton Experience Center in Pittsburgh.

Students learned about career pathways in engineering as part of the annual Eaton Experience Week. Sheikh is a second-year student and Choose Ohio First scholar in the Future Scientists of Ohio program. He plans to transfer to Ohio State to pursue industrial engineering. Qadri is also a second-year student with Ohio State transfer plans. He has an interest in pursuing mechanical or electrical engineering.
