Help honor and thank our student military veterans

With the coronavirus pandemic forcing the cancellation of our annual Veterans Day event, Jay Favuzzi, Military and Veterans Affairs manager, came up with a meaningful way to thank our students who have served in our military: personally calling each of them during these difficult times! However, with more than 600 current student veterans, he will need assistance from faculty and staff.

Sign up here on Eventbrite to volunteer. By doing so, you will commit to calling 10 veterans. (If you’re an overachiever, you can sign up two or three times for additional calls.) A contact list will be provided to each volunteer with the names and phone numbers of ten student veterans. What’s more, a script will be provided to leave a voice mail if they don’t pick up, along with a list of resources if a student answers and has questions.
