Microsoft Teams training for employees

The Information Technology (IT) Division offers virtual training sessions for employees who want to learn more about Microsoft Teams. New April sessions are now available.

You can register by signing up on Cornerstone. Go to the “Events Calendar” under the “Learning” tab. Click on the event you want and select “Request” to register. The day before your training, you will receive a meeting link and instructions on how to join the session. Personalized Teams training for your department or group is available upon request. For more information, contact the IT Support Center at extension 5050 or email helpdesk@cscc.edu


Getting Started with Teams
Are you are interested in using Microsoft Teams, but not sure where to start? Training sessions are available. The Teams application can help you communicate and collaborate with your colleagues while working remotely. Features like chat, conference calls, cloud file storage, and integration with Office 365, all combine to make Teams a very versatile tool.

Teams Practice calls (drop-in times)
Do you want to practice joining and participating in a Teams meeting? Our informal drop-in calls can help.  Sign up so we can send you an invite, then stop by during the call to try it out and ask questions.

Monday, April 20 from 1-2 p.m.
Wednesday, April 22 from 3-4 p.m.
Friday, April 24 from 10-11 a.m.

If you understand the basics of Teams but want to learn more, join us for our training sessions that provide more in-depth information about your favorite Teams features:  

Teams Topics: Calendar and Meetings (45 minutes) – Learn how to schedule and join meetings in Teams, how the experience differs when you invite students or outside contacts, and how to use various features within your meeting.
