Update | Tuesday, September 8, 2020

National Medicare Education Week, from September 15-23, is dedicated to helping baby boomers, Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers learn more about Medicare.

All interested Columbus State employees are invited to attend a virtual Medicare informational seminar presented by Ann Heringhaus of Seniority Benefit Group. It will be held on Tuesday, September 15 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Heringhaus will walk you through Medicare basics, options for coverage, member enrollment periods, timelines, and estimated costs to help you make an informed decision.

You do not need to be on Medicare, and you do not need to be 65 or older to participate. Whether you are helping a friend or family member navigate Medicare or if you are planning for your healthcare needs in retirement, this is open to all interested employees who want to learn more about Medicare.

  • Do you have a parent or spouse that is Medicare eligible?
  •  Do you have a parent or spouse that is enrolled in Medicare?
  • Are you approaching the age of Medicare eligibility?
  • Are you enrolled in Medicare?
  • Do you want to learn about healthcare in Retirement?

If you answered "yes" to any of the questions above, this seminar is for you. This information will help you navigate and understand Medicare so that you can make the decisions that are best for you and your family. Please RSVP by sending an email to info@sbg65.com, and you will receive a confirmation with the Zoom log-in information.
