Mail procedures to follow as COVID-19 precautions continue

Update | Tuesday, November 24, 2020

To minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19, a procedure is in place for contactless mail pick up and drop off on the Columbus Campus. There is currently no routine delivery of mail or packages to offices or buildings.

Mail and packages are available for pick up Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-noon and from 1-3 p.m. When you arrive at the outdoor loading dock area behind the Bookstore, call 614-287-2567 to request the mail for your unit. An associate will bring your mail to the base of the ramp. After making visual contact with you, they will place it there. You can then approach the ramp to retrieve the mail, keeping the exchange contactless. You may also drop off outgoing mail and packages using the same procedure.

This process will remain in effect until further notice.  If you have questions, please email mailroom@cscc.edu

Note: Please use the Bookstore as the delivery address for parcels from UPS, FedEx, and freight. Parcels will be delivered to the receiving dock at the back of the building.

The Bookstore address is:
Columbus State Community College
283 Cleveland Ave.
Columbus, OH 43215

If a staff or faculty member drives to campus only to pick up mail, does not enter a facility, and does not have contact with any other individuals on campus, they do not need to request approval to be on campus, nor do they need to check-in. If the staff member will be interacting with individuals and/or entering a College facility, they must follow the standard request permission to be on campus and use the standard check-in procedures.
