Foundations of Excellence: share your feedback

The Gardner Institute Foundations of Excellence – Transfer Focus collaboration between Columbus State and Capital University has the primary goal of improving the transfer experience for students.

Faculty, staff, and students from both institutions have participated in activities since February 2019 to discuss the transfer experience through nine dimensions: Philosophy, Organization, Learning, Campus Culture, Transitions, All Students, Diversity, Roles and Purposes, and Improvement.  

Dimension committees drafted recommendations based on surveys, focus groups, faculty collaboration, and other campus engagement. The next step in the process is to select items for inclusion in an implementation plan.
