Lt. Governor provides keynote address at College event

Employment Engagement and Experimental Learning (EEEL) hosted an Information Technology Pathways through a Flexible Apprenticeship (ITFA) event in WD on February 18. Following remarks from David Nowak, chair of Information Systems Technology, Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted provided a keynote address. 

The evening included an overview of the ITFA program by Kaylor Ramey, outreach coordinator, and a tour of technology labs led by Nowak and Dave Cofer, project manager. Two separate student and employer experience panels featured Accenture and State Auto. Additional support was provided by Tom Capps, project manager, and the IT and Grants offices.

More than 200 people attended the event, including 124 students, 50 guests, and 47 partners.  You can view video highlights at this link.
