New work from Di Pietro performed in New York

Update | Tuesday, November 17, 2020

New work by composer and adjunct faculty member Rocco Di Pietro was performed Saturday night, November 14. “The Six Day Week” is a new String Trio concert with electronics. Di Pietro arranged it after a New York concert with the Mivos String Quartet at Roulette last fall. Saturday night’s concert featured Stanford composers Mark Applebaum and Jareck Kapsucinski. The Mivos String Quartet – just back from Vienna, Austria – live-streamed the work from New York to the Stanford Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics where it was presented with a virtual discussion with the composers.
