Faculty: Blackboard Content Editor/Textbox Editor has new look

The new Blackboard Content Editor will appear in your courses starting on Thursday, November 5. Adding content to your Blackboard course will be simplified and will work better on mobile devices.

New features:

  • The Plus The "plus" signsign replaces the “Mashup” feature for adding files, images, videos, and more
  • An accessibility checker helps you make your content ADA compliant
  • Copy and paste from Word, Excel, and websites is improved – you can decide to “remove” or “keep” the formatting
  • Font choices appear in the actual font
  • Authoring area will automatically expand for you
  • Test creation is made easier
