Active and Collaborative Learning workshops
Update | Tuesday, February 18, 2020
The Faculty Professional Development Initiative (FPDI) team invites you to collaborate and explore Active and Collaborative Learning (ACL) with new workshops this semester. Within the context of ACL, they will focus on four other key areas known as Four Tracks. The Four Tracks concept encompasses teaching and learning to integrate business and industry-identified needs into course outcomes.
Areas include diversity, equity, inclusion, critical thinking, building reading and writing skills, and leveraging teaching with technology.
The 90-minute FPDI workshops are held in the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CT) building. Multiple sessions are offered to reach as many full-time and adjunct faculty members as possible.
Register in Cornerstone. Search for “FPDI” in the Learning Tab. For questions, contact FPDI@cscc.edu. Details including dates and times for workshops can be found at this link.
