Career Services offers a suite of programs and services to currently enrolled students, recent alumni, faculty, staff, and employers. Career Events and Employer Events are scheduled for the remainder of March. Registration can be found on Cougar Connect (cscc.edu/connect) or Handshake (cscc.joinhandshake.com).

Tuesday, March 18
Networking with Handshake for Health Students: noon to 1 p.m.; Center for Workforce Development (WD), room 304

Join the Career Services Office for a session to learn more about networking strategies and how to use our employment platform, Handshake. This session is specifically for health students. We will go over great ways to connect to local healthcare employers.

Coffee with Carie: 10:30 to 11 a.m.; virtual
Questions about student employment? Want to catch up and chat with Carie? Bring your favorite coffee or other beverage!

 Let’s Talk About Internships: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.; virtual
 A comprehensive workshop tailored to guide students through applying for internships and earning academic credit. Students will also hear from an employer about how they can set themselves apart while applying for internships.

Thursday, March 20
Introducing Micro-Internships: 3 to 4 p.m.; virtual
Interested in building experience in your career field but don't have time to commit to a full or part-time position? In this session, we will discuss the many benefits of completing a flexible (often remote) micro-internship (10-40 hours of project-based work) and review the multiple ways that students can complete a PAID micro-internship at Columbus State.
