Theatre Columbus State presents the play “Say Goodnight, Gracie” at 8 p.m. October 26-29 at the Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Avenue (in the Discovery District near Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Main Branch location). Admission is free for all performances, with no advance ticket required.
The play is a comedic drama capturing a group of young adults nearing 30 preparing to attend their high school reunion in 1976. Gathering in an East Village apartment in New York, they discuss their dreams, insecurities, past events and, as members of the first Television Generation, their favorite TV shows. Ultimately, they attempt to figure out what to do with their lives.
“Say Goodnight, Gracie” is directed by Frank Barnhart, director and lead instructor for theatre at Columbus State.
