Collegiate Leadership Conference of Ohio

Student News | Monday, November 8, 2021

Student Engagement and Inclusion would like to formally invite you to attend this year's Collegiate Leadership Conference of Ohio (COLO). And you may attend in-person or virtually this Friday, November 12. Here's what you can expect to learn from the event:

CLCO aims to offer advanced learning opportunities to promote professional networking, provide hands-on service experiences, and encourage development in leadership, financial literacy, inclusion, activism, and education across Ohio. The theme of this year’s CLCO is “Invest in Your Purpose and Passion.” Attendees will learn to use their passion as motivation to:

  • Reflect on self to become versatile leaders now and in the future
  • Engage in open and honest discussion to better support others on their journey to developing their future
  • Build confidence in their role as leaders in their everyday life

The conference will include keynote speakers, interactive presenters, and opportunities to make meaningful connections with others, all while exploring how the journey of investing in yourself yields meaningful accomplishments.

Here's what past attendees have said about the event:

"CLCO was the event that made me realize I can achieve my goals no matter what age." Syreeta Mitchell, 2013 and 2014 Student Ambassador

"I learned so much from the breakout sessions at CLCO. And the main thing I learned is that connection is key." Allen Costa, 2018 and 2019 Student Ambassador

Registration is required on CougarConnect: RSVP here.

When: Friday, November 12 from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
