Columbus State basketball student night

On Wednesday, February 14, The Columbus State men's and women's basketball teams are sponsoring a Cougar Student Night for the second-to-last home doubleheader of the season.

The Cougars take on their DIII rival, the Lorain County Commodores in an OCCAC battle. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the men's tip off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The women are currently 10-9 overall and 4-5 in the OCCAC. The men are 12-7 overall and 6-4 in league play.

Promotions include:

 -Free t-shirts to the first 20 CSCC students through the door at each game.

- Free popcorn and cotton candy to all fans.

-All CSCC students will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing for a DX gift card.

- All kids will receive Valentine's Day candy, a mini basketball, and a sticker.

-Cheerleaders will throw t-shirts out to the stands during timeouts.

-Cheerleaders will put on a 3 minute halftime show during each game. After they perform, we will have a free-throw shooting contest to win a CSCC athletics gift bag.

-We will have team photos and sports guides available at the table for people to grab.
