Meet the Team
Dr. Cerelia V. Bizzell (she/her) - cbizzell@cscc.edu
Director, Office of Student Engagement and Belonging
Dr. Cerelia V. Bizzell has dedicated her research, energy, and vision to creating
spaces for communities and developing leaders to engage in innovative curricula to
assist with personal development, the celebrating of narratives, and the confidence
to challenge and support each other to build arenas of change. Dr. Bizzell holds a
Master of Science in Business Psychology from Franklin University, a Master of Science
in Education with a concentration in College Student Personnel from the University
of Dayton, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership Curriculum and Culture from Miami
University. Dr. Bizzell has authored different scholarly works that focus on fostering
a sense of belonging for multiple communities and centering the voices of unique communities
to explore acts of support and allyship. Dr. Bizzell is a National Women’s Study Association
member and a proud Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. member.
Vincent A. Hill, M.A. (he/him) - vhill13@cscc.edu
Assistant Director, Office of Student Engagement and Belonging
Vincent Hill, a 2025 recipient of the 'Who's Who in Black Columbus' award, is responsible
for assisting in the operational leadership and administrative functions of the Office
of Student Engagement & Belonging at Columbus State Community College, where he serves
as the Assistant Director. He also contributes to the development and implementation
of the College’s strategic initiatives, policies, practices, and programs, with a
focus on student success. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management
& Finance from Ashland University, a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education & Student
Affairs from The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education
(Ed.D.) in Educational Policy and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Vincent serves as a board member for the African American Leadership Academy in central
Ohio and is a proud life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

Ambrea Williams
My name is Ambrea and I am a Computer Science major with a passion for Industrial Engineering and Product Design! I love cooking, crafting, gaming, and diving into fun hobbies like crocheting and roller skating. Community involvement means a lot to me, and I thoroughly enjoy staying connected—whether through events like the African American Men’s Wellness Walk or engaging with fellow students here at CSCC.
David Muiru
My name is David, an adult student majoring in nursing who is dedicated and committed to personal growth, leadership and community service. Throughout my academic journey, I have demonstrated a passion for helping others and contributing positively to the society. I am known for being reliable, compassionate and having a strong sense of responsibility. Over the years, I have developed an interest in areas related to health, community development, and leadership.
Dennis Balusi
My name is Dennis and I am a Student Ambassador serving on the clubs committee. I have a background in business and procurement. I’m passionate about automotive customization and enjoy exploring car mods in my free time. Currently, I’m working toward my Associate of Applied Science in Nursing and prioritize physical fitness as part of my personal growth.
Donavin Meade
My name is Donavin and I am a Cybersecurity Major who has been passionate about technology since I was a young teenager. I'm very outgoing when I need to be and can be very understanding to situations. My ultimate goal is to become either a reliability engineer or a security engineer.
Emmanuel Chenge
My name is Emmanuel and I am a Computer Science student who is passionate about helping others succeed both academically and personally. I’m passionate about connecting students with the right campus resources and building an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged to grow. As a Student Ambassador, I aim to use my leadership skills to inspire involvement, strengthen our community, and make a positive difference in student life.
Gillian Desormeaux
My name is Gillian, and although I am currently majoring in Communication, I hope to transfer to the Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism to pursue my Bachelor of Arts upon completing my associates degree at Columbus State. My goal is to play a role in reshaping the current journalistic landscape from a divisive and fear-driven model into a more accessible and digestible model that is unbiased, relevant, and fact-driven. I am passionate about promoting inter-community well-being and connectivity, and am a strong advocate for sustainability, equity, and better public transit. In my free time, I like to write, paint, and ride my bike. I am always seeking new opportunities to be creative, and I love to meet new people.
Hans Cadejuste
My name is Hans and I am a prospective software engineer who loves to experiment, create, innovate, and solve problems. I know I can't make the world perfect, but I strive to give everyone around me a taste of what perfection feels like.
Maryam Khan
My name is Maryam and I am a Medical Laboratory Technology major passionate about laboratory science and its role in healthcare. I enjoy hands-on lab work, learning new techniques, and working as part of a team. As a student ambassador, I enjoy welcoming students, connecting them to college resources and sharing how supportive faculty have guided my journey. Outside of academics, I enjoy engaging in community activities and exploring leadership opportunities on campus.

My name is May and I love meeting new people, and hyping everyone up at events. Being a Student Ambassador lets me make friends from everywhere and enjoy the best parts of college life together. I’m always excited to create good vibes, and share smiles.
Nana Yaa Boateng
My name is Nana and I am a Nursing major and a biology nerd who loves all things science and healthcare. I enjoy getting involved on campus, meeting new people, and finding ways to make college life more connected and meaningful. My goal is to volunteer and practice nursing in as many countries as I can.
Noah Clark
My name is Noah and I am one of the student ambassadors overseeing student clubs. I am studying for an associate of science degree to later study manufacturing engineering at OSU.
Ryan Curley
My name is Ryan, an international student from Ireland studying Construction Management. I'm in my final semester, and looking forward to graduating and getting back into the big, bad working world. I enjoy helping out on campus and am normally at every event! I thoroughly enjoy learning about American sports and have become a recent Buckeye fan, but rugby is the sport I'm most passionate about! Sláinte!
