Leadership Endorsement from Western Governors University and is currently completing
her EdD in Special Education from Walden University. She is a lifelong learner with

provides. She is eager to build a community of lifelong learners through her advising
role at CSCC.
Sam Kennedy
Sam has worked in education all across the country for the entirety of his entire
professional career. Since completing graduate school, he has been doing a little
bit of everything around the high school and college world - athletics, teaching,
and now advising; Sam loves working one-on-one with students to help them find their
way and excel throughout their academic career.
Mike Stumpf
My name is Mike Stumpf and I’ve been working in Higher Education for more than 20
years. After completing my Bachelors of Arts at Iowa Wesleyan, I moved to Ohio to
attend Kent State University where I received my Masters of Education. Over the
years, I have worked in housing, orientation, student activities, the registrar, financial
aid and testing. I have seen students move towards online learning and over the past
7 years have really had an increasing opportunity to work directly with those students.
Online education breaks down so many barriers for people wanting to further their
education and I love being a part of that community.
Annette Rogers
My name is Annette Rogers, I am an Online Student Support Guide, and I am so excited
to be part of the Columbus State Community College family. Education is my passion;
over the last eight years I have served in various capacities in both K12 and Higher
Education settings. I am a graduate of Central State University, with a bachelor's
degree in educational studies. I understand the unique needs of our students. I began
my college experience as a traditional student fresh out of high school and I completed
my degree as an online, non-traditional student many years later. I understand the
apprehension that can present when starting an online program and how overwhelmed
students can become. I am a mom, a wife, and I am a first-generation graduate - if
I can do it, I know that our students can too!
Online learning presents a distinct set of challenges. My goal as an Online Student Support Guide is to fully engage with our students – making real connections, to help our students set goals, and to encourage them through challenging moments. As an advisor and advocate it is my hope to help each student to remember their “why” and guide them to the resources that will help them to achieve their educational goals.
MacKenzie Wilcox
MacKenzie graduated with her B.A. from the Ohio State University. She started working
at Columbus State in 2021 as the Voter Education Coordinator, encouraging students
to engage in the democratic process and become strong civic leaders. In addition to
continuing with voter education, she now works with the Online Student Success team
to support students with their online learning experience.
MacKenzie enjoys working with students to help them feel comfortable and empowered
in the online space and encouraging a sense of belonging among our community of online
learners.
