Hotel Management AAS
Hotel Management is designed to prepare students for increasing career opportunities
in hotel management and administration. Objectives of this major are designed to provide
students with a series of courses and experiences to successfully assist students
who wish to find careers in training, leadership, supervisory and management positions
in the hotel industry.
Hotel Management prepares students to be an effective manager in the hotel industry.
This industry encompasses a vast array of hotel products and services. Professionals
in Hotel Management are skilled at managing, planning, budgeting, organization, and
promotion in a variety of hotel, resort, casino and other lodging settings. Students
in this track pursue careers within the hotel and hospitality industry. Lodging represents
one of the largest industry’s world-wide. Millions of people spend billions of dollars
annually using millions of lodging establishments for business, pleasure, event &
entertainment.
