Business Management
Students seeking the Associate of Applied Science in Business Management will complete foundational coursework preparing them for many unique business or educational paths. Students may also choose the Associate of Applied Science in Entrepreneurship to assist in planning and starting a new business enterprise.
Upon completion of the first two semesters of the BMGT degree, students earn the Foundations of Business and Advanced Foundations of Business Certificates. They can use technical electives to pursue certificates in specialty areas such as Project Management, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Interpersonal Skills or Bookkeeping.
Likewise, Entrepreneurship majors may target their program to a specific type of business such as Automotive, Hospitality, Real Estate, or Sports Management.
Certificate credentials, along with the achievement of the Associate of Applied Science, will allow students to excel with their current employer, begin a new professional career, start a business, or transfer to a Bachelor’s degree with our four-year partners.
No matter which path you embark upon, studies show that every year of education adds to your compensation and opportunities! We have designed our plans of study to incorporate skills and knowledge that employers tell us are essential in today’s competitive global marketplace.
