Poster for Theatre Columbus State's Love/SickThe inaugural performances for the newly renovated Nestor Hall Center for Performing Arts (formerly Nestor Hall Auditorium) will be held this week.

Voter-approved bond money funded the $8.5 million renovation. The work will be publicly unveiled when Theatre Columbus State performs “LOVE/SICK,” a collection of ten hilarious short plays by John Cariani.

Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, the 10 scenes explore the pain and joy that comes with being in love. LOVE/SICK is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone. It is directed by Frank Barnhart. The play will be performed at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23 through Saturday, April 26 with a 2 p.m. performance on Thursday, April 24. Admission is free.
