“Say Goodnight, Gracie” opens this week. Frank Barnhart, director of the play and lead instructor in Theatre at Columbus State says, "The play is a comedic drama capturing a group of young adults nearing the age of 30 and preparing to attend their high school reunion in 1976. Gathering in an East Village apartment in New York, they discuss their dreams, insecurities, past events, and, as members of the first Television Generation, their favorite TV shows. Ultimately, they attempt to figure out what to do with their lives."
It will be performed in the Discovery District’s Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Ave. (near the Metropolitan Library’s main branch), Wednesday through Saturday, October 26-29, at 8 p.m. nightly. Admission is free. Advance tickets are not required.
