Manufacturing Excellence

Campus News | Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Columbus State’s manufacturing programs were recently recognized by The Manufacturing Institute through inclusion on the M-List.

The M-List distinguishes quality manufacturing education and training programs that are a preferred source of talent for manufacturing employers. Specifically, these colleges offer students the opportunity to earn National Association of Manufacturing-Endorsed Skills Certifications as a standard part of their manufacturing education programs.

The M-List is designed to benefit manufacturers, skilled workers, students and career changers looking to upgrade their skills, and site selection agents looking for a region with a commitment to manufacturing skills. The application was submitted through a collaboration of the Welding and Engineering Technology Departments and as part of the college’s effort in the Ohio TechNet TAACCCT grant.
