What
is the Testing Center (TC)?
The Testing Center (TC) is responsible for providing students with a
testing environment where tests can be administered accurately and
securely according to the instructor’s guidelines. Students may
report to the TC to take their COMPASS Placement test, Distance
Learning exams, traditional classroom makeup, and request proctoring
service for a non-CSCC exam for a small fee. You must report two
hours before closing if you plan to take the COMPASS Placement
test. The COMPASS Placement computerized tests are for new students to
identify the appropriate starting level for reading, writing and
math courses. After a student completes the COMPASS test he/she will
be directed to the Advising and Counseling Services to speak with an
advisor to have his/her scores interpreted. An advisor will assist
him/her in first quarter course selection. The Distance Learning and
makeup exams are administered in the TC and the results are obtained
from your professor. The TC is a facility aimed at meeting the
testing needs of the learners. NOTE: Students will need to know their Cougar/Student ID number when coming to take exams. This can be found on student's schedule accessed through CougarWeb or on their Cougar ID card.
Testing is available at the Dublin and Westerville suburban campuses
