Clinical Experience A critical element in the Phlebotomy program is the practice acquired in the clinical setting under the supervision of a qualified Phlebotomist. This experience allows the student to practice in an authentic setting. The following is a sampling of the facilities in which students are placed for this portion of the program. Some facilities are used only for inpatient clinical experiences and others only for outpatient clinical experiences. Some are used for both. *See note below. Mount Carmel Medical
