Scholar House (low-cost housing for students)
Community Properties of Ohio offers a program called Columbus Scholar House (CSH). CSH is located at 17th Ave. and Long St., and has 10 units of subsidized housing that have been designated specifically for full-time students enrolled in an Ohio accredited institution of higher learning and maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA. The student must be income qualified for Section 8 Housing. Community Properties of Ohio would like Columbus State students to learn more about this great housing opportunity. Ohio Benefit Bank
Many college students are forced to make tough decisions every day, such as choosing between paying rent or buying food. In an effort to eliminate these choices and to help Ohioans gain access to programs that help to provide stability, the Ohio Benefit Bank is available on the Columbus campus.
