I-71 - I-670 Construction and Ramp Closures

ODOT Update June 17

MONDAY, June 17 – THURSDAY, June 20

At 9 p.m., the ramp I-670 east to I-71 south will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to I-670 east to Leonard Ave. to I-670 west to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

The closures are necessary for bridge painting.

By 5 a.m., each morning, the ramp will be open.

TUESDAY, June 18 – WEDNESDAY, June 19

At 8 p.m., the ramp from I-670 west to I-71 south will close for bridge work. Traffic will be detour to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

At 9 p.m., the ramp from 11th Ave. to I-71 south will close. I-71 south will be reduced to one lane.

At 10 p.m., I-71 south will be forced to exit to I-670 west to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

By 5 a.m., each morning, the ramps will be open, and there will be two through lanes for I-71 south.

NON-INTERSTATE CLOSURES

Beginning today, Jack Gibbs Blvd. will be closed for 30 days east of the I-670 west entrance ramp to just east of Leonard/St. Clair Avenues. for resurfacing.

MONDAY- FRIDAY

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Cleveland Avenue will be reduced to one lane each direction from Jefferson Ave. to Jack Gibbs Blvd. for street lighting.

THURSDAY

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., One-way of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers on St. Clair Ave between 2nd Ave. and Leonard Ave. for bridge work.

WEEKEND WORK

FRIDAY, June 21–SATURDAY, June 22

At 8 p.m., the ramp from I-670 east to Cleveland Ave. will be closed for roadwork.

By 6 p.m. Saturday or sooner, the ramp will be open.

FRIDAY, June 21 –MONDAY, June 24

At 9 p.m., the ramp from I-670 east to I-71 south will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to I-670 east to Leonard Ave. to I-670 west to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

By 5 a.m., Monday, the ramp will be open.
