Admissions Office & College Coaches

College Coaches assist new students with the application process and provide information on programs of study and next steps for enrollment, placement testing, and applying for financial aid.

Meetings with College Coaches are available on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Campus tours provide another opportunity to learn more about Columbus State.

Please follow these guidelines for contacting College Coaches:

  • First, please review the Get Started Guide, which guides you step by step through the enrollment process at Columbus State.
  • Contact one College Coach for assistance with questions not answered in the guide.
  • Provide your telephone number and address to assist us with responding to your questions.
  • Meetings with College Coaches are available on a walk-in basis in the Admissions Office in the lower level of Madison Hall.

5. Dual Credit/College Credit Plus (taking Columbus State classes while you are in high school)

What you may have known before as "dual enrollment," "post-secondary enrollment," or "concurrent enrollment" is all part of the College Credit Plus (CCP) legislation that we call Dual Credit.
