Columbus State's Automotive Technology programs prepare students for entry-level positions
as Service Technicians or Service Advisors. Through classroom and hands-on experiences, the curriculum prepares graduates for
a wide variety of job opportunities in new car dealerships, independent repair shops,
and fleet repair facilities. Courses are designed to help students prepare for Automotive
Service Excellence (ASE) certification examinations.
Classes are designed for beginners or those with some experience. Students may earn
an associate's degree, complete a number of certificates, or take individual courses
to meet their educational and career goals.
You may be like many of our students -- you know that you want to be in Automotive,
but you are not sure what major or program is right for you. We suggest that you start
by joining the Auto Tech Associate Degree Program.
