You have a phenomenal business idea. You know it and now it’s time the world, at least Columbus, knows it too.

Pitch your business or business idea at this year’s Ohio Growth Summit! Pitchers will present their idea to a panel of business development professionals and the Ohio Growth Summit audience. The winner will receive an award of $500.00!

Eligibility

• Presenter must be a paid registrant for the Ohio Growth Summit

• Business must be under two years old

Pitch It! Presentation Guidelines

• Two minute time limit

• No props, PowerPoint, or costumes

• You must be present to win.

• All entries must be submitted online by midnight, Monday June 2, 2008

Judging Criteria

Presentations will be judged on the following six criteria:

• Pitch is presented in concise and logical order.

• Pitch is creative, energetic and delivers a memorable message.

• Presenter conveys confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism

• Product or service concept and the benefits customers would receive are clear and compelling

• Market opportunity and potential returns are stated and convincing

• Business need is requested.

Pitch It! submissions selected to present will be invited to attend a free workshop on Elevator Pitch Development conducted by the Small Business Development Center, Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 10:00AM – 12:00PM.
