Amy Hart, Ph.D. Associate Professor Hospitality Management Dr. Hart earned a doctorate in Labor Relations and Organizational Behavior from Northcentral University, Prescott, Arizona in 2009. She completed her MBA at Ashland University with a specialization in Employee Relations. She also has
several B.S. degrees from OSU and Franklin University. Since 2000,
she has taught numerous courses at Columbus State that address the
business and management aspects of tourism and hospitality. Dr. Hart
is a certified Hospitality Educator and is involved in curriculum
development, course assessment, and student advising. Dr. Hart began her professional career in the tourism industry. During her time in the tourism field she was a flight attendant and eventually a Travel Manager of a multi-site, multi-million dollar corporate travel management company. She was also a Sport Event Manager working with MLB, NBA, and NFL teams as well as minor league baseball. |

David Tom, Ph.D. Assistant Professor Psychology Dr. Tom earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Rutgers University in 1994. From The Ohio State University he received an M.A. in Counseling in 2000 and in 2005, the Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. He began his career in psychology working as a counselor in an inpatient mental health facility and during graduate school, worked for the Strategy Team. This Columbus-based market research firm analyzed the results of qualitative and quantitative research studies to provide strategic direction to clients such as Nationwide and the Ohio Department of Health. At Columbus State Dr. Tom enjoys teaching Abnormal Psychology and especially the biological aspects of human psychology. He enjoys running, biking, and playing chess.

Gretchen Glasgow, Ph.D., RN Nursing Research Consultant Dr. Glasgow earned the Ph D in Health Education and the Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University after receiving a bachelor of science degree at Capital University. She has enjoyed a 35-year career in nursing education serving in a senior faculty role in undergraduate education at Ohio State and Ohio Wesleyan and at the graduate level at Capital University. Gretchen provided formal classroom instruction in nursing research and mentored nursing graduate students through their thesis work. She served as a member of the Capital University Institutional Review Board and presently assists nurses in the development and implementation of clinically based nursing research at Riverside Methodist Hospital. In her free time, Gretchen enjoys studying the history of the Underground Railroad, quilting, ringing hand bells, and serving as "grandma" to five grandchildren.
