Services We Offer Whether you are a highly trained athlete or you are just getting use to the idea of becoming physically active, the Human Performance Center has something beneficial to offer you. You can browse our list of services or you can find the stage below that fits you by choosing the physical activity profile that best describes your current status. Upon finding your profile, go to the description of the services recommended for you and find out what each service offers. Wellness Profile The wellness profile is designed for the person who would like to become more physically active, but is not currently active. This profile offers an easy starting point without exercise and provides you with a non-judgmental method of determining your physical activity needs. The wellness profile takes no more than 30 minutes of your time and you do not even have to work up a sweat. You will receive a print out of your results and a physical activity consultant will meet with you to help you determine the right course of action to make physical activity a part of your life. The wellness profile consists of the following:
Non-exercise fitness test Body weight and composition (optional) Grip strength Sit and reach Health Risk Appraisal Physical Activity Readiness-Questionnaire
Body Age Profile We all know how old we are chronologically, but how old are you biologically? The body age profile is a simple method of estimating your body’s biological age. The body age profile requires less than 30 minutes of your time and only a moderate amount of exercise, yet it can provide you with the motivation to pursue a more physically active lifestyle. After you receive your body age profile you can schedule an appointment with a physical activity consultant to determine the best course of action to make physical activity a part of your life. The body age profile consists of the following:
Height Weight Resting Heart Rate Blood Pressure Body Composition Push-ups
Activity Profile The activity profile is perfect for the person who is currently physically active and would like a quick and easy assessment of their current fitness level. The activity profile requires less than 40 minutes of your time and consists of a few moderate exercise protocols. When finished with the activity profile, you will receive a comprehensive print out of your results and you can then schedule an appointment with a physical activity consultant or an exercise specialist. The activity profile consists of the following:
Health Risk Appraisal Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire Body Composition Aerobic Capacity Test Grip Strength Sit and Reach
Full Fitness Assessment The full fitness assessment is designed for the person who is very physically active and wants to determine their fitness level for all four health fitness components. The full fitness assessment requires approximately 60 minutes of your time during which aerobic capacity, body composition, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility will be measured. Upon completion of this assessment you will receive a 20+ page print out and you can schedule an appointment with an exercise specialist who can design the most appropriate exercise routine for your individual goals.
